8/10 is my intent to not give a 10/10 to everyplace but know my opinion of this hotel was high. The amenities were modest. Everything was very clean. The hotel was beautiful with mosaics, tiles, painting-like pictures, and arranged scenes like that of an Andalusian museum giving the hotel a very unique and beautiful environment. It covered the walls, floors, ceilings, and stairs. You have to look all around as you walk through the hotel.
The amenities were modest. If you're looking for all the bells and whistles of a 5 star or even many 4 star resort hotels, you need to look elsewhere, but I don't know if they have many of those in Seville. This hotel gives you a feel of Andalusia, of Spain, of their culture.
Perfect location - stone throw from most sightseeings
Almost 50% of the rooms do not have external window! Be careful! Some of them have a view only to an internal patio, there is no fresh air, only some air conditioning, it is dark, and it smells of kitchen. This is not announced by the hotel! It could be horrible for people with asthma and heart problems! Rooms with external windows in most cases are described as "rooms with view" and are more expensive. They are really nice but after the shock of the internal patio....
weird but good - location is excellent
if you get a cathedral view room then be ready for the noise late at night outside
The decor was very interesting, and gave a lot of ambience. The staff was great, and the location cannot be better.
In the triple room, the third bed was not entirely comfortable.
Superb location, friendly & efficient staff, breakfast selection very good, luxury toiletries provided.
Rooms a little on small side.
Fantastic location, easy to find.
Staff miserable. Bedroom did not have a window, so very dark. Uncomfortable bathroom. Poor breakfast.
The best location, nice interior, great money value....
Very quirky, interesting decor and it was perfectly located near to where we wanted to be. Reasonable price, which included breakfast.
Not the hotels fault, but we were woken at 8am (7am Portuguese time which we are used to!) by noisy building work - we suspect in the property next door - which meant we were unable to sleep in. The hotel were unaware of the situation (and it couldn't be heard two floors down in reception), so hopefully it has now been addressed - although I would certainly double-check before booking!
Location is 2 minutes away from cathedral, the palace, tram line and historic centre of Seville. Room was very clean and spotless. Staff are friendly and the nightshift gentleman was very helpful. The rate I got was very good value for money.
No safety deposit box in the room I stayed in. I kept my documents at reception in their safe. They had a good procedure though for registering items.
The location is superb and the staff is fantastic!
Hard to say. So typical Andalucian, a museum, a work of art, quiet, location. Our stay there was planned by the wife and she did exceptionally good this time. I would like to thank the hotel staff for their help and kindness; they were great at whatever hour with our sometimes strange questions. Breakfast was the best! It was quiet and yet, the closeness to city center couldn't be better. Clean!!!! It was only after our booking that we learned that a friend had stayed their and she has the same comments.
The design of the hotel was great. The old style courtyard and the tile work on the steps and walls. A little too much art work hanging around but the historic Spanish feel and perfect location made the hotel a fun experience.
great hotel-- location is amazing, right in the center of Sevilla. Room on the internal courtyards were a bit dark but otherwise all clean and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome and definitely worth it!!!!
no parking nearby and only accessible parking included public lots without in/out privileges.
I liked the design of the hotel, the antiques and paintings everywhere. the room was quiet and the location good. i left my bag there for a few days and came back for another night and the staff looked after it, even delivered it to my room. Wonderful.
Loved the location just a few hundred metres from the very beautiful cathedral and most of Seville's attractions. Loved the hotel decor and the many antiques. Our room was tastefully furnished and spotless. All the staff were great but special mention must go to Ralph, Morgan and Phillipie. All such pleasant and good fun guys. Loved the dining room and restaurant.Breakfast was excellent. Love to all and would certainly stay there again.
